Laine grew up the youngest of five, and is the only girl of the family. Living in rural Louisiana, running through pastures barefoot, hunting with her daddy, and roughhousing with her brothers is as second nature to her as putting on fancy clothes or bursting into song at any given moment. She's been singing since she was old enough to realize she could hum a tune at will. She wrote her first song at just three years old, and as soon as she could write began putting her lyrics to paper. A country girl at heart, she still believes the simple things are those that matter most. She finds it hard to believe that people might actually enjoy her music as much as she does, but just can't help reaching for those stars.
